Joshua Benjamin Jeyaretnam known to Singapore and the world over as JBJ has decided to step down as the Secretary-General of The Workers' Party!
JBJ who has held this position for 31 years informed the Centre that he is stepping down so that new blood can take over. He has made known his decision to the Workers' Party and sources have told the Centre that there would be a Party meeting on 27/5/2001 to discuss these and other issues!
