While Singapore has a ban on public gatherings for political purposes, the organizing group is taking advantage of the fact that Singapore is the world's most 'wired' society, and is running much of its activities via the internet. The Think Centre website will serve as the hub of the campaign and can be visited at www.thinkcentre.org.

The Think Centre, its regional arm Think Centre (Asia), and Nonviolence International (co-founder of the Thailand Campaign to Ban Landmine and 2001 Landmine Monitor research partner for Singapore) are cooperating together in this event to educate the Singapore public on the Antipersonnel Landmine Ban.
